Setting Our Mind on Good
What are our first thoughts of the day? Do we start the day thinking well or thinking badly? In this, we must be intentional: predispose ourselves toward good.
God renews His mercy every day, and that truth will not change. It doesn’t depend on us, but that is His very essence.
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it,” Psalm 118:24 (NIV). If God made it, shouldn’t we start it with thanksgiving? We must focus our eyes on what is eternal each day to find purpose.
Sometimes it seems easier to think badly: that there will be complications, stress, and problems, but the Lord has a promise for every situation.
Let us know the Bible and the promises found there, and bring them to Him in prayer during adverse situations.

Hi I really appreciate this today...I experienced a very hurtful situation a couple of days ago... Someone I just meet knew and believed liked me thought I left the room and said really man things about me... When she realized she just laughed and ran away... At first I wanted to hurt her back... And I cried because it just seems like the whole world has just become two faced and unkind.. I used to be a very violent agent person mad at the world and it has been very hard lately not to go back to my man self...I got what I wanted and none talked about me behind my back....
